How to Access Counselling Support?
Our kura has a team of four kaiwhakamāia (school guidance counsellors) and two kurī (dogs). We support the whole school community but primarily ākonga. If you’d like some help with a difficulty or concern, you can talk to us in confidence. We are available during term time and within the normal school hours of 8.30am – 4.30pm.

Students can make a referral for themselves or a friend by going to the WHS Login Hub and clicking on the “Counselling Form’ icon. One of us will respond as soon as possible. Staff can make a referral for a student using this form too.
Students are invited to meet with a counsellor via email or using a runner’s note.
